The Aegis Group was selected by the State Government under this program to provide up to 133 places for elderly people in need of care pending admission to a residential facility. The highest standard of care, therapy and allied health services are provided, with particular attention to the individual needs of the resident and their family. A social worker is available to assist in assessing CAP options and for assisting families in finding a permanent place of residence. The Care Awaiting Placement Service (CAP) is operated from four convenient locations:
